The 2024 Wakesurfing World Championships concluded successfully in Xianghu. Throughout the competition, athletes were towed by motorboats and engaged in fierce contests amidst the "waves" generated by wave-making vessels. The CVW Thunder PRO-Duo demonstrated its strengths in portability, signal stability, and long-range transmission capabilities. The cameraman could closely follow the athletes to provide online viewers with an immersive watch experience of the thrilling race.
This event featured over 130 competitors from more than 20 countries and regions, showcasing a high level of international sporting excellence. It was providing an immersive engage experience for the online audiences. The cameramen were tasked with capturing dynamic shots of the athletes on water. Following tests conducted by the organizers, they positioned the transmitter of the CVW Thunder PRO-Duo on a speedboat for close-up footage of the competitors while placing the receiver onshore to capture signals for transmission back to the production team.
The Thunder PRO-Duo has high performance with ultra-long transmission distance, strong anti-interference, and penetration. It can transmit up to 1.2 km in line of sight and up to 10 km air-to-ground. It also has excellent through wall and non-line-of-sight transmission abilities for stable wireless transmission in hard environment, making it a powerful tool for outdoor livestream.
Additionally, the Thunder PRO-Duo, two-channel wireless video transmission system, efficiently optimizes wireless spectrum resources by utilizing a single frequency point (where each frequency point corresponds to one channel), thereby minimizing the potential for wireless interference and ensuring a more robust transmission of video signals in dynamic environments.
The H.265 coding and decoding technology effectively reduces bandwidth usage and improves the clarity of dynamic images in large scenes. Its compact and portable design enables seamless mobility for cameramen across various settings, allowing for flexible movement to capture precise moments of players.
The competition effectively showcased the picturesque scenery of Xianghu Lake and delivered an engaging experience for the audience, combining visual and emotional appeal. CVW Thunder PRO-Duo performed consistently as expected, providing online viewers with a dynamic water sport that seamlessly integrates speed, skill, and beauty.
