Rehearsal Testing

Before the event, CVW actively participated in rehearsal testing to ensure stable recording signals on the day of the finals. The rehearsal took place at the Jinjiang Second Sports Center, where two Sony camera track positions were set up next to the four-sided stage. The control station was located in the broadcasting room, with the RCP connected to the switch and video transmission network to control the cameras.

Twelve camera positions on-site transmitted their signals via SDI to the broadcasting console in the venue for simultaneous livestreaming, making it essential for the video transmission to be stable and high-quality.

Given the closed signal environment and potential interference in the venue, the organizers conducted tests and ultimately chose the Thunder PRO-Duo for the track camera positions.

Cutting Through Challenges: Thunder PRO-Duo Witnesses the Crowning of Glory

The "Through Wall King," Thunder PRO-Duo, boasts exceptional through-wall capabilities and non-line-of-sight transmission. Even in the presence of numerous obstacles, it ensures stable video signal transmission, maintaining a smooth and consistent feed.

Each channel can transmit video over a distance of up to 1 kilometer, while in an aerial-to-ground scenario, it can reach up to 10 kilometers, making it ideal for recording and livestreaming events in large venues.

Given the multiple wireless signals at the event, such as wireless microphones and the broadcasting communication system, Thunder PRO-Duo uses only one channel for two video signals, conserving wireless spectrum resources and effectively reducing the likelihood of interference. This results in more stable video signal transmission on-site. Utilizing H.265 encoding technology, it provides clearer visuals, allowing online audiences to experience the exciting details of the competition.
