CVW Wireless provided the Thunder Pro-Duo as the wireless video transmission equipment, ensuring real-time transmission of high-definition performance footage.
Held at the Baoneng Guangzhou International Sports Performance Center, the concert attracted nearly 20,000 attendees. To enhance the performance experience, the stage was designed as a square platform, requiring photographers to move flexibly for multi-angle shooting. Traditional wired setups posed numerous inconveniences. Besides synchronous recording, live images needed to be displayed on the venue's large screens. Therefore, a wireless video transmission device with high image quality, stable transmission, and lightweight flexibility was essential. After comprehensive testing and evaluation, the organizers chose the Thunder Pro-Duo for this event.
On-Site Setup
On the day of the concert, there were 14 camera positions on site, outputting via SDI to the director's desk in the venue through fiber optic cables. Various wireless setups were employed, including microphones, intercoms, video transmissions, glow sticks, and director communication systems. Considering the complex wireless spectrum on-site, the final setup included a Thunder Pro-Duo installed on two Steadicams, with the control desk positioned in a corner of the stage. The RCP controlled the Steadicam cameras through the video transmission's Ethernet port, focusing on Lay Zhang's stage performance.
The Thunder Pro-Duo, known as the "great through wall performance," boasts ultra-long transmission distances, strong anti-interference capabilities, and powerful penetration. Its new H.265 codec technology offers low latency, reduced bandwidth usage, and clearer images, enabling real-time transmission of high-definition images to the big screen. Additionally, its compact and portable design minimizes the burden on photographers, facilitating mobile shooting. This makes it particularly suitable for large venue events and competitions.
Moreover, the Thunder Pro-Duo's excellent anti-interference and high image quality provided the best support for the entire concert, capturing every spectacular moment of Lay Zhang's performance for his fans.
